Exclamation What to bring to the field

If this is your first game of airsoft, we appreciate it can be a little daunting to know what to bring. The pictures of all these camo'd commandos with impressive weapons of mass destruction should not put you off turning up. Just know that every one of these players had a first day where they probably turned up in walk shorts & a t-shirt.

The most important thing is that you turn up & give it a go. I got my first airsoft gun 25 years ago, & I was hooked for life! I have made many new friends & shot them , plus played up & down the country in fields of grass, jungles of ferns, pine forests & even abandoned buildings. It really is great fun.

Male or female, young or old, airsoft is a fun, fast paced battle of wits, skill & opportunity. It will keep your mind sharp, your body fit, & give you hobby that you can enjoy on either a small of large budget.

    What to bring:

Ideally, subdued colour clothing that covers your whole body & that you don't mind getting dirty or damaged. I good, sturdy pair of boots or shoes that will give you grip, comfort & keep your ankles safe whilst running over uneven terrain. A subdued colour hat would also be advisable. If you have some kind of gloves, bring them, but they are not essential. It is strongly recomended you dont turn up in shorts & a T shirt with jandels on, you will end up hurting yourself.

Bring lunch, plus bring at least 1.5 litres of water or liquids (& drink it).

Bring any meds you may require: asthma, allergies, bee/wasp sting, hay fever etc.

Most importantly, bring a good attitude & happy smile. Even though folk will be hunting you down & trying to shoot you, it is a fun sport that is to be enjoyed. It is competitive, but not at the expense of fun.

If you have airsoft gun, safety goggles or mask, bring that too.

Finally, bring your friends & family. We can involve them in games even if they dont want to shoot.

If coming out to for a game for the first time, please print & sign off our waiver & present to the game marshal on arrival: Download Waiver

Please bring the game fee if you are bringing your own BB gun. You will need $15 to purchase your own hit-marker & team armband also.
If you dont own an 4x4 vehicle, you will also need a $2 coin to get you a lift from the gate to the game area & back.

If you are also hiring a gun, $20 gets you a gun, hit & team marker & saftey mask, ammo we have at $10 for 2000 rounds that should last you the day. You do need to book these in advance though on the forum.

Age Limits: We don't have an official age limit, you do need to be able to look after yourself, be responsible & be able to understand & follow our rules safety instructions. If under the age of 16, you will need to have a parent or guardian with you initially, & we can evaluate things from there.

    What not to bring:

Don't bring anger or hostility onto the field. If you are having a bad day, go watch some boxing on TV.

Don't bring alcohol, drugs, real firearms, knives, bayonets, explosive devices, pyrotechnical devices, paint-ball firing weapons, lasers, smoke grenades, lead pellet firing air guns or other objects that you would not walk down the road in public with.

Please note that due to fire/insurance concerns, smoking is only allowed inside vehicles, with butts & ash also contained therein.
